Excel V+ is a non-invasive medical procedure that will help to manage rosacea symptoms, reduce redness, lighten dark spots and pigmentation, and remove broken capillaries and veins.
How Does Excel V+ Work?
Excel V+ uses dual-wavelength laser technology to target and break down abnormal blood vessels and pigmentation in the skin. The laser energy is absorbed by the affected areas, causing the veins or pigmentation to gradually fade.
The wide range of conditions that this treatment can address includes facial redness, rosacea, port wine stains, leg veins, keloid scars, skin tags, sun damage pigmentation, and venous lakes (purple lesions on the lips).
What to Expect During Your Treatment
Each Excel V+ Skin Rejuvenation session lasts between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. You may feel a slight warming sensation as the laser is applied, but most clients find the treatment comfortable. There may be some downtime required for this treatment, depending on the targeted issue. Results are noticeable after just one session, though multiple sessions may be recommended for more significant skin concerns.
Recommended Treatment Course:
For best results, we recommend a series of 2-4 Excel V+ treatments, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. This allows the skin to heal and improves the appearance of pigmentation, veins, and redness over time. Your skincare specialist will recommend a customized plan based on your specific skin concerns.
Is Excel V+ Skin Rejuvenation safe?
Yes, Excel V+ is an FDA-cleared, safe, and non-invasive procedure. It’s suitable for a wide range of skin types and effectively treats vascular conditions and pigmentation without damaging the surrounding skin.
Is there any downtime after an Excel V+ treatment?
Yes, some downtime may be required after an Excel V+ treatment, depending on the concern being treated. Some clients may experience some mild swelling, bruising, crusting, discoloration or other side effects, which typically subsides within 3-7 days. Immediately after treatment the skin may be slightly red, and warm to the touch. Avoiding strenuous exercise, hot showers, saunas, swimming and sun exposure for 24-48 hours post treatment is advised.
