Skincare on the Go: At-Home Treatments to Revitalise the Skin
As we begin to head back to our offices and resume our regular routines after what was a very strange 2020, our sense of normal is finally returning to what it once was. We are slowly but surely swapping our pyjamas for our corporate wear and Zoom meetings for board rooms.

Luckily, there are many ways you can bring the salon experience home! Here are our favourite at-home treatments for skincare on the go. Plus, we chatted to the wonderful Lavish Beauty team about their ideal at-home treatment routines!
La Prairie 3-Minute Peel

Hand Cream & Lip Balm
These skincare staples are a no-brainer. They’re a necessity for everyone; it is incredibly important to have a quality lip balm and hand moisturiser with you at all times.
We recommend keeping the 100mL handbag-size of La Prairie’s Cellular hand cream with you to protect your hands and keep them moisturised. This is especially important if you use alcohol-based hand sanitiser regularly.
To keep your lips hydrated, Charlotte recommends the Lumi Crystal Gloss from Cosmedix because it is fantastic to top up over your lip stain or lipstick. It has a plumping effect and offers long lasting hydration.

To start, Charlotte likes to cleanse and exfoliate with La Prairie’s Cellular Mineral Face Exfoliant, which uses rose quartz particles to buff away dead skin.
She then pats her skin dry and applies a face mask. Her mask of choice is La Prairie’s 3-Minute Peel. Charlotte likes to leave the mask on while in the bath or shower so that the steam activates the product. The peels are best left on for 4-8 minutes before being washed off.
Following this, Charlotte uses La Prairie’s softening and balancing lotion to calm, soothe, and hydrate. To finish, she applies a generous layer of La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Luxe Face Cream.
